Steel fibre is a mature product that has been around for 40 years and added to the concrete pre-mix by doses to improve the performance of concrete. It serves the purpose of reinforcement steel to improve the structural properties, in particular tensile strength and flexural strength.
It can work in tandem with concrete depending on factors such as shapes , size, volume, percentage and distribution. To ensure the best results, we work with academics & end-users to continuously improve the product.
Aspect ratio (ratio of length to equivalent diameter), higher aspect ratios in main means increased flexural strength.
